ATLANTA – Events in June at the Cobb Galleria Centre filled 4,739 hotel rooms, generating an economic impact of $1.4 million on Cobb County.

 

Three major events, the House Hasson Dealer Market, the Blade Show and International Cutlery Fair and the Salvation Army, booked large hotel blocks for their shows while at Cobb Galleria Centre, having a major economic impact on the community.

 

“While Cobb Galleria Centre hosts numerous local corporate and social events, our primary focus is bringing visitors to the community through our trade shows and conventions,” says Michele Swann, General Manager and CEO of the Cobb-Marietta Coliseum & Exhibit Hall Authority, owner of the Cobb Galleria Centre.  “These visitors have a significant financial impact on not only the businesses within the Cumberland/Galleria area, but throughout Cobb County — filling hotel rooms, eating at restaurants, shopping, and visiting local attractions.”
